Description

A man, 45 years old, calls himself Emperor due to his immense love of penguins and deep connection with these animals. After the death of his mother, tired of his loneliness, he’s now sitting for the very first time at a Gay Speed Dating Event. There, he will be faced with different questions, each of them delivered by a different man in the circle of dating, bringing about important memories of his past. This embarks him on a trip down memory lane where he will come face to face with his demons and finally understand how to find his happiness, how to be a real “Emperor”.

*Please note that this performance will be presented at the Tank's in-person performance space at 312 W 36th St. All attendees and artists will be required to display proof of two doses of an approved covid vaccination before being admitted to the space.
