Serials

March 28th, 29th, 30th @ 9:30 PM

The beloved late-night play competition is BACK for the first time ever at The Tank! SERIALS is a raucous night of serialized plays featuring some of the hottest actors, directors, and playwrights in the indie theater scene. Five teams perform five original, ten-minute episodic plays with only six hours of rehearsal time. Then YOU, the audience, vote for your three favorites. The plays with the most votes come back with a brand new episode of the same storyline the following week of SERIALS. Teams with the least votes come back with a pilot episode of a brand new storyline.

Serials may contain sequences of flashing light that may affect photosensitive viewers, as well as use of loud noises and depictions of violence and sexual themes that may be triggering to some viewers.

Please note, all tickets provide the same access to our shows. Opt for the 'Artist' ticket for budget-friendly pricing, 'General Admission' for standard rates, or 'Supporter' to generously contribute extra support to both The Tank and Serials. Your choice makes a difference in sustaining our mission here at The Tank.

Please note that this performance will be presented at the Tank's in-person performance space at 312 W 36th St. All attendees and artists will be required to be vaccinated for Covid-19. Patrons will also be required to wear masks when not eating or drinking.
