I'd Like to Believe the Sun is Yellow

June 18 at 3:00 PM

Creative Team:

Crystal Marie-Alberson// Director
Emma Chart//Performer
Nathaniel Foster//Playwright-Performer

Description:

It's the year 2100 and Max Crumb has just done what any heart broken twenty-six year old would do... signed up to be a test passenger on an experimental unmanned commercial space flight. Things don't go as planned and Max finds himself on a collision course with the sun. Accompanied only by his Personalized Autopilot Technology (Pat for short) Max travels to the deepest reaches of our galaxy in search of meaning, healing and maybe a text back from his ex. I'd Like to Believe that the Sun is Yellow is a new play that explores just how far we will go to avoid confronting and dealing with our problems.

*Please note that this performance will be presented at the Tank's in-person performance space at 312 W 36th St. All attendees and artists will be required to display proof of two doses of an approved covid vaccination before being admitted to the space. Patrons will also be required to wear masks while indoors at all times.
