Stray

About the Show

Presented by The Tank and Theatre Conspiracy, STRAY is a meta-memoir punk show with references to Patti Smith, Robert Mapplethorpe, and David Wojnaroqicz, based off of creator Tanya Marquardt’s experience as a sixteen-year-old runaway, BDSM model, and New York transplant. Beginning the day Tanya ran away from home, each song leads you through the people and places of her life, and how art sustained her throughout the chaos.

The show will tour to Vancouver and Toronto's SummerWorks Performance Festival after its run at The Tank, and is being published as Stray: Memoir of a Runaway by Little A in September 2018.
