THE TANK SPACE FOR PERFORMING AND VISUAL ARTS

The Tank is a non-profit space and relies on the donations of its audience. By becoming a Tank member, you will receive special invitations to private events throughout the year, as well as free tickets to shows and other benefits.

Thanks to our supporters, last year’s Freedom of Expression campaign was a fantastic success, raising $50,000 for The Tank’s general operating budget. This has allowed us to continue to subsidize performance space for the emerging arts in Manhattan, as well as to grow our administrative staff. In the face of increased operating costs and the closure of several similar Manhattan institutions this year, we need your support now more than ever to maintain and further develop our commitment to public affairs and the arts through the coming season.

We are excited to announce a new membership campaign for 2008. For each new or renewed member, The Tank will receive a matching donation, thanks to a challenge issued by Brian Johnson, the Lead Contributor in this year’s campaign, and The Tank’s Board of Directors.
